I was first drawn to the field of bodywork working in a surgical unit at Good Samaritan Hospital. Working with patients and seeing the staff deal with pain, stiffness, and tension from stress that modern medicine could only do so much to help alleviate. It was during that time when I felt a need to explore different avenues of healing and self-care.
I received my training and continuing education at East West College of the Healing Arts. East West is committed to teaching exceptional alternative healing and health care options and seemed like the best fit to explore the possibility of practicing bodywork. It was in this nurturing environment in which I fell in love with the art of massage therapy. My practice focuses on deep tissue, rehabilitative, sports massage, and facilitating the body’s own natural ability to heal itself.
It is my goal to create sessions unique to the client’s needs. I always look forward to assisting clients in achieving balanced bodies that move with ease.
